A group of musicians in the late 1970s discovers the smooth sounds and smooth lifestyle that is yacht rock, a genre of soft rock music that took over FM radio in that era.

Filmed in the Atlanta suburbs where the red-headed Lil Yachty grew up, this 14-minute film — sort of like a docu-musical — is a gorgeous and goofy look at his rise. It’s full of surreal reenactments, boat trips, and interviews with Lil Yachty’s mom, his uncle Darnell Boat, his go-to producers Burberry Perry and Earl, and all his good friends in the Sailing Team.

This film was the second in the 1980 series of Top Sailing, titled as 'Creek Crawling' and also known from the script as 'Creek Crawler Extraordinary'. Michael and his son Richard Bentine meet up with the Pebble Mill host Donny MacLeod and cartoonist Mike Peyton for some fine sailing and reminiscences amongst the creeks of the Suffolk coast.
